Alright everyone, I feel it’s time I let my followers in on the secret of why I haven’t been posting ANYTHING lately - I’VE STARTED MY OWN BUSINESS! My own line of nail polish, inspired by famous anime and famous anime characters, and it’s called Otaku Polish. :) I’ve been absolutely obsessed, buying supplies and researching techniques, and it’s all going to come together soon!
My first collection will be featuring who else but the lovely Asuka Langley Soryu of Neon Genesis evangelion. Stay tuned - it’s gonna rock your socks off!

Hello!
Welcome to my first blog post, and my blog. :) My name is Ilze Anna, and I am the founder and creator of Otaku Polish, an indie nail polish line inspired by famous anime and famous anime characters.
As any sensible person would do, I am making my first collection based on my favorite character from my favorite anime - Asuka Langley Soryu (Shikinami) of Neon Genesis Evangelion. :)
There are going to be four polishes in this line -
- The Fiery Redhead
- The Yellow Dress
- Big Red Doll
- Basic Thermodynamics
I don’t want to give away too much, so I won’t go into more detail than that, but keep your eyes peeled! It will be coming soon!
Unfortunately, I leave in a few days for a week-long vacation, so I won’t get to make any more progress than I already have for that time. However - when I get back, it’s full speed ahead!
